Pakistan Chamber, USA delegation calls on Sindh Governor

KARACHI, May 01 – Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan has said the government is focusing on all resources of power generation and in this regard projects to benefit from Alternate Energy and Thar coal field are included in our priorities.

For this purpose cooperation would be extended to interested investors, he said while talking to a delegation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce, USA, led by its President Saeed Shaikh, which called on him at Governor House here Wednesday.

Noted industrialists Majyd Aziz, S.M. Wasimuddin, Mohammed Ishfaq and other business representatives were also present on the occasion.

The Governor welcomed the interest shown by Pakistan-born American investors for investment in the Province and said that economic activities here have received a spur because of law and order improvement and focus on infrastructure.

He said practical steps were taken for building up a positive image of Pakistan and specially of Karachi in the world and continued holding of international events in various sectors and visit by foreign delegations is reflective of the same.
