No ISI link in Mumbai attacks

THE WikiLeaks busy in revealing many things these days has revealed through its one of the released cable, that diplomatic missions in New Delhi believed there was no evidence to suggest an ISI link in the Mumbai attacks of Nov 26, 2008, and that a “major intelligence failure” had led to the strike.

The level of hue and cry being made by the Indian government and its officials soon after the attack to blame Pakistan intelligence agencies was amazing. Even when the attack was in its full swing Indian elements without evaluating the facts maligned Pakistan .It depicts Indian mind set of maligning Pakistan in each and every affair. Though it was Samjohta express incident or it was Mumbai attack Indian authorities within no time blamed Pakistan for the incident. Later it was Indian inquiry committee which established that Pakistan had nothing to do with Samjhota express blast. It was infect planed by Hindu fundamentalists through Indian Army’s Lieutenant Colonel PS Purohit. He was proved guilty in Samjhota Express blast killing more than 60 innocent passengers mostly Pakistanis. PS Purohit procured the explosives used in the 2007 Samjhota Express train bombing and 2008 Malegaon blast, Indian police told a court in Nashik city. According to Maharashtra police Colonel had obtained 60 kilogramms of the explosive from Jammu and Kashmir in 2006 according to a witness in the Malegaon blast case.

It may be recalled that, Hindu ascetic Sadhvi Pragya Singh and Lt Col Purohit tested negative in narco tests on direct involvement in the Samjhota Express bombing, but gave important clues about their clandestine network. The Mumbai Police ATS later on traced two followers of Sadhvi and an Indore-based Hindu Jagran Manch who were also involved in Samjhota Express bombing. The suitcases that were used to blow up three carriages of Samjhota Express were traced to Indore, which has emerged as a hub of clandestine activities of Hindu militant groups. It has always been an unfortunate at the part of India that it never behaved like sensible neighbouring country. Due to its illogic policies it had always been a pain in the neck for neighbouring countries. India in fact is the founder of terrorism in the region. It always adopted the policy of destabilizing the neighbouring to maintain its supremacy in the region.

India instead accepting the failure at intelligence front in Mumbai attack blamed Pakistan and some of its religious and charity organizations. So much so India tried to call ISI chief to India to brief them that they were not behind the attack. It was the height of desperation that they were showing at that moment. India in fact tried to follow USA in certain moves as USA soon after the 9/11 resolved to fight war against terrorism and attacked Afghanistan India also deployed its forces along Pakistani border taking the same plea to fight against terrorism. Butt seeing Pakistan army’s daring plunk in defending its territory India reviewed its designs to keep mum.

Pakistan authorities took firm stand that Pakistan was not involved in the attack. Another secret US cable dated as recently as Feb 22 this year said Pakistani authorities had told US officials that 26/11 suspect David Headley’s statements to American investigative agencies would be treated as “hearsay with little evidential” value in Pakistani courts.

At later stages Americans have admitted that they knew about the attack and if they wanted they could have stopped the same. It means things were planned and designed to happen like that. India’s extremists Hindus playing in the hands of terrorists with the help of Indian intelligence agencies keep on thinking the ways to design Mumbai kind of attacks just to put blame on Pakistan. These segments even planned to attack Israeli citizens residing in India and important places to malign Pakistan intelligence agencies.

On the other hand destabilizing Pakistan is an Indian dream which will never come true as India herself is speedily moving towards destabilization. A number of separate movements in India are getting paced to blow up. Besides Kashmir struggle and Khalistan movement, there is visible unrest in Tamil Nado, and Assam who are demanding separation. People of Mizoram region are also not feeling comfortable with India. So India instead concentrating in her internal affairs is more concerned in subversive activities inside Pakistan. India is hectically busy in utilizing anti Pakistan elements residing in Afghanistan and within Pakistan as well to create unrest in this piece of land. Instead feeding her masses living below the poverty line India is funding the elements to do terrorist activities in entire Pakistan specifically in Baluchistan. It’s no more a secret now that Indian intelligence agency RAW is running safe houses in Afghanistan, where terrorists are trained and launched for missions in Pakistan. Huge funds being allocated have been distributed among the people deputed to launch terrorist attacks inside Pakistan. India-funded Kandahar training camp, where Baloch insurgents, are being trained and provided arms and ammunition for sabotage activities in Baluchistan is also an open secret now. India must understand one thing that peace cannot be achieved through conspiracies and intrigues. India has to have evolved strategy of accepting and respecting sovereignty and autonomy of all of the neighbouring countries by instantly setting aside its designs to destabilize them.
