Some suggestions

1. Move the 'Register Now' section from Forum page to Home page. The 'Home page' needs some serious over hauling as for a new guest, it apears as if it's a Zaid Hamid page.

2. Move the left colum containg 'Pakistan News' and 'Defence News' from left to right side as it causes distraction.

3. On Forum page, News has categories but National has no categories. Why not to move it under the News menu?

4. Not sure why to have two menu's for Videos, one on Forum meny bar and the other next to About us.

5. Why not move all 'About us' section to 'Register, Today's posts and Search' section?

Btw, home page is "refreshed" every week, latest news should appear in few days removing Zahid Hamid articles and video's.

LOL, he is true, as of now, the Homepage does gives an impression of pro-Zaid Hamid forum. Ironically, all the vids posted in the Recent Article section is about Zaid Hamid. I think some rearrangements can solve the issue.

Instead of making the changes across the board, let's first start with the Home page. In my opinion, it should be simple, easy to navigate, attractive, less cluttered with information, and yet modern looking. The menu items do need some thinking and how to group them. Also they can be placed at one easy to access prominent area without spreading them all over the page and duplicating.

For banner, I would suggest to use a picture such as f-16 block 52 until a banner is available.

:) I know, I know. I was testing some new script so I just used an rss feed from youtube... which happens to be publishing pakistani tv talk show videos and focus is on zaid hamid. Sorry about that. I am looking for someone to submit news on regular basis (daily, hourly) which we will review and publish on the website. My focus with PT is to make it similar to what DefenceTalk and AutoTalk are so if you want to be part of it, please let me know!

This is first time I am hearing that left side bar causes distraction... Sorry can't do that but will consider it in any future projects but I doubt it, no promises. :) Btw, what LCD and resolution are you using?

It has a purpose. It does have categories but they are not visible as there is no content there, yet.

How is that a problem? It doesn't waste anything, anyway, I will see if I can take one off.

Not sure what you mean? The "Register, today's post" are FORUM related menus, and they belong there. About us is a general page which would have information about what PakistanTalk is and other related items.

Well! In my opinion, tHis is a froum page and not news and Hence tHe forum page must be tH focal point. THe news column on tHe left witH limited widtH, titles spreading on several rows and bold text does not seem to fit on tHis page. THat's wHy I suggested to move it on tHe rigHt side so tHat tHe forum page can become a focal point. As a matter of fact I would move it to Home page.

(sorry for tHe capital 'H', as my lower case 'H' is not working)

The Forum style and theme seems too plain, mundane, and stock, it needs further cosmetic customizations. Making it feel and look more like a Pakistani forum would help. The color green alone won't do the trick...

I know Admins are busy, but that's my opinion. Nonetheless, the Admins have done a good job so far.

Btw, the theme is pretty good. Its much better than ripping off another forum/site like some have done many times in the past, hope you know who I am talking about!
