Can Wii replace real sport?
Research has suggested that playing games and doing aerobics classes on the Wii are as good for you as the real thing. But can there really be any substitute for fresh air and fun?

Research has found that Wii boxing and tennis are the equivalent of moderate intensity exercise - the same as a brisk walk. The games, played in front of a TV screen, may increase your heart rate and make you breathless but is it real exercise?
Will this finding only encourage parents to wrap their children in cotton wool and stop them cycling to school believing an hour's Wii in the evening will give them all the exercise they need?
