Pak Taliban behead two Sikhs

Islamabad, Feb 22: Two Sikhs who were abducted for ransom have been beheaded by the Pakistani Taliban in the country's restive tribal belt.

Jaspal Singh and Mahan Singh, both businessmen, were kidnapped from Tira Valley in Khyber agency and Darra Adamkheil in Orakzai agency on Jan 19.

The Sikhs were kidnapped 34 days ago and the Taliban had demanded Rs 30 million as ransom for their release.

According to sources, two of the kidnapped Sikhs were beheaded after the expiry of the deadline for the payment of the ransom.

Some more members of the minority community are still in the custody of the rebels.

The kidnapping took place in an area where there the government has virtually no control and the militants are in a dominant position.

Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (DSGPC) condemned the incident and said that Pakistan government should take strong action against Taliban.

These savages operate out in the open and not on another planet or parallel dimension! They pluck whom they will from the bosom of any village or large city of their choosing to take as hostage or to incite fear through public execution. Now I am not saying that this would be impossible anywhere else, but there is a certain level of impunity that Taliban operates under which disturbs me. 34 days being kept hostage and not a single attempt at a rescue operation by security forces. It was only last year when Taliban FM was removed from the air waves. These animals still have a very powerful presence, even though they are not flaunting like before, but Taliban are still damn powerful and very much in the fight and have just iced the cake with this latest execution. It is terrible to lose one of the few true minority groups Pakistan has because essentially this is an attack on all Pakistani minorities letting them know they are not welcome. They are clearly operating with a level of impunity, I hope you understand what I mean.

Muslim are being Butchered including women and chilreen from sandy iraq to Lavish green Valley of kashmir. Every time I turned on tv and I see blood of muslims spilling all over just because they happen to be muslims. If world can turned blind eye because muslims blood are no blod then some are immune to human feeling....

Nobody has killed muslims for being muslims, they have been killed because they are jihadi's and want a world caliphate, were using violence and intolerence as means to meet that end. If they were killed for being muslims, you would be atleast in GB for your musings on your host country.

All, the while non-muslims are killed, discriminated and perscuted in muslim countries for being just that non-muslims. Take your Taaqiya elswhere boyo.
