There's a tendency here mate, you're not the first one to be unbanned.
Whoever gets "too active" here gets unbanned or even promoted to "Elite, Staff, Think Tank or Moderator " there and gets priviledges.

Do I need to explain the strategy?
I think someone really needs to get a life.

Think Tank/Elite Membership/Moderator - is not what I am looking for Buddy. I much prefer to stay at the ground level where the common folks are and have my say.

Our times are unique and very very confusing - where there is more grey area than black and white and it is easy to slip. We are responsible for our times and how it shapes the future and if my opinion helps in shaping a decision making process I shall consider myself fulfilled.

Oh! you don't - neither do I.

This is a long story and starts right after the so called 9/11 - to put it in a nutshell - What I do think is he sowed the seeds of discord in the society. The genie is now out of the bottle and I doubt if it can be put back again

Imho you're mistaking him for Gen Zia-ul-Haque. Definitely the root to radicalisation of Pakistan and downfall of our society.

Neo, do you really smoke?
Baccy, I mean - so do I
We both have a common interest in the Cosmos, though all of it belongs to me now

We have much in common except I cannot cook. Cooking is the most difficult job in the world or so i think.

Coming to your comments - yes it did start with Zia as I was discussing with Ambassador Araz on another thread - he cud have turned it into a direction that wud have taken your country to the top - unfortunate that he did not. [I am not implying not fighting the Soviets here]
Musharraf goofed up in totality - perhaps Generals should never ever come to power again in your country.

note: baccy is tobacco/cigarettes

200,000 Facebook fans want me to return to Pakistan: Musharraf

9 May 2010

LAHORE: Former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf has said 200,000 of his Facebook fans are asking him to return to the country from Britain and he will contest the next general elections.

Musharraf said that he would contest the election even if they were held on a mid-term basis, a private TV channel reported.

In a video message shown addressed to the members of his party, All-Pakistan Muslim League, he said he had 200,000 fans on the social networking site Facebook and they want him to return to Pakistan.

Musharraf said he believed Pakistan has the potential to progress as a developed and prosperous country.

"If you’ll support me I won’t let you down," Daily Times quoted him as saying.

Musharraf, who had been ruled guilty of illegally imposing emergency, has been living in Britain.

The former military general was ousted from power in August 2008. He had suspended the constitution as part of emergency provisions in November 2007.

I have a reason for saying this:

Nawaz Sharif, crook though he is, as all politicians are, out of necessity and
seldom by choice, was spot on when he said, "Musharraf is a one man calamity"
And I believe he wud have been right or close to it on this WOT had he been not
deposed by Musharraf.

In a similar instance, though no similarities here - Bhutto cud have hacked a
much better job in the Afghan War had he not been overthrown by Zia.

Zardari btw, is not a politician - his wife was.

In retrospect, I think Imran Khan should be able to do a much better job with the addition of another iconic fatherly figure to his Party - Guess who?

Dont make sense! I am not exactly a fan of Musharraf's later years but i dont htink he did anything to break Pakistan.
