The surah 24:30-31 say:[6]

May be you can describe your objection to each of these pictures individually to help the non-Muslims better understand the issues.

Also why this is the biggest concern at this point and not some of the others.

I am not a religious scholar but hey isnt the Church considered as one of the houses of God?

Plus who are we to judge these ladies....let them pray to whoever they want in whichever house of god they want!

We should look at our own deeds and try to be model humans before we can even consider ourselves model Muslims ..... I believe in the present day we have forgotten a lot of what our religion Islam stands for and what our dear Prophet (PBUH) taught us.

Some of us have adorned the characteristics of a person who thinks he can criticize the actions of other muslims and has the right to wipe out anyone who can be pigeonholed into the ''Kafir'' category.

Someone else said that he has been "successful" with girls since KG (whatever that means!). Was that Islam compliant?

So many Muslim lads in Britain are into drugs (and many in other crimes including terror). What about that?

We cannot base our actions on opinions or appearances. Remind yourself of the prostitute who entered Jannah because of the small deed of giving water to the thirsty dog, and the story of the pious monk Barseesah who ended his life in prostration to Shaytan (the devil) .

Looks can be deceiving, so know that only Allah is ''All-Aware'' of what is in the heart of a muslim, and we do not have the right to judge others based on their actions or ways of life.....brand them as good Muslims or bad.

The Prophet (PBUH) said,
“I have not been ordered (by Allah) to search the hearts of the people or cut open their bellies.” (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim)


In another incident when Hazrat Usama ibn Zayd killed a man even though he had accepted that there is no deity worthy of being worshiped but Allah, claiming that the man had said so out of fear of weapon, the Prophet (PBUH) observed:
“Did you tear his heart in order to find out whether it had professed that or not?” (Reported by Muslim)

• Forced conversion since the earliest days of Islam
• Murder in the name of religion (in this case even after converting under duress)

Also none of that "Your deen to you and mine to me" stuff. And mind you, the prophet is in the picture here.

Plus you want to open a thread....go ahead, do so, just dont get lost in the works of Will Durant, Kamran Shafi or Daniel Pipes in trying to find clues in the words of the Prophet(PBUH) telling the muslims to kill the kafirs!

If you guys ever are discussing this topic, I do want to understand what I may possibly be missing. I hope someone can really explain what appears to be a contradiction.
