RAWALPINDI: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Tariq Majid, lauded the Army Strategic Force Command for strengthening country's strategic deterrence.

He gave these remarks during his visit to the forward locations and Headquarters of the Army Strategic Force Command.

During his visit, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee was given a detailed briefing on various operational and training matters pertaining to the Army Strategic Force Command.

Lieutenant General Khalid Ahmed Kidwai (retd), Director General Strategic Plans Division was also present on the occasion.

General Tariq Majid greatly appreciated the operational preparedness and training proficiency of all remarks of the Army Strategic Force Command, which has strengthened the defence of Pakistan.

On this occasion, he also reiterated that Pakistan is following the policy of credible minimum deterrence and urged all ranks of Army Strategic Force Command to continue working hard for achievement of the laid down objectives.

Earlier on arrival, General Tariq Majid was received by Lieutenant General Syed Absar Hussain, Commander Army Strategic Force Command.
