Pak N-assets in safe hands: PM
Published: February 03, 2010
ISLAMABAD (APP) - Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday giving strong assurance about the safety of Pakistan’s nuclear assets said the country would uphold its integrity at all costs and resist external interference.
“There should be no doubt about the safety of our nuclear assets”, the Prime Minister said while addressing a seminar on ‘Our Goal, Peaceful Pakistan’ organised by a group of newspapers here at National Library.
The Prime Minister said the country’s defence was in strong hands and it would continue to strive for stability in the region.
He said it was a time to prudently take decisions, rather than making wrong ones in haste.
“We want to resolve issues on the negotiating table rather than decide these on the battle ground,” Gilani said and vowed to shed the last drop of blood for the country.
He said a peaceful Pakistan was the desire of every citizen, which was also dreamt by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Iqbal and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
He stressed the need for all institutions to work in accordance with democratic norms to achieve progress and prosperity of the country, and added that Islam’s golden principles were a beacon to be followed.
He appreciated holding of seminar on a meaningful subject as discussion on the issue of peace was much required at the moment.

We already have nukes for a decade now, we are already committed against an enemy and we have already seen threats where people have been leaning for our nukes, now if you absurd and stupid claim had any water in it, ut would have already materialized.
You better bring up some proofs and back up your childish claim or else stop trolling.

Zia died in '88, well 21 years have already passed. A 2/Lt then had to be a colonel by now. A senior officer then would be a general now. If we also consider his 11 years of rule then even 2/Lt (or Zia boys as you claim) should be serving as generals or brigadiers currently.
Nothing happened and nothing would happen but you would continue to monger as that's what you can do best.

You dont know what a Zia boy is my dear, do you? A typical characterization of a Zia boy, would be at the time of Zia, he would be 12-13 year old. That is when his manipulation through education and violent islam took over Pakistan(not that it wasnt violent enough before), Give them 5 -10 more years, is when the real Zia kids takes over. Senior Officers and 2nd Lt at the time of Zia was never taught to be child zombies through Pakistan history books and all. The worst of Pakistan is yet to come, and it is in 5 years, 9/11 and anti-americanism will only have strengthened their resolve and ideology. Times are bleak

Re: Pak N-assets in safe hands: PM
i wonder where those 'zia boys' are today who were 12-13 years old when he was alive? Dead? Or serving some top seats in the country. Even if not at the top (lets give the age allowance) they must be working in some critical posts, sensitive installations etc etc. Unfortunately things have been fcuking up in your power plants recently, not ours!
BTW, how much more would you wait till these 'boys' give you the required results?
What a FAIL!
