I read this on another forum, it was posted couple of days back by a member. Wonder how much of it is true:

Pakistan has recently (1-2 weeks ago) tested a Shaheen series missile. Missile was Shaheen II but it was not a 2 stage version. Just single stage with around 900km range. Purpose was to test improvements in the guidance system and test some other issues. Test was carried out in the Arabian sea. 2 Mirages were also used to tack some parameters. By the Grace of Allah results have been amazing. Guidance now is state of the art and Alhumdullilah second to none.

Work on Sub Launched missiles is also successfuly in progress. Some Major milestones have already been achieved.

If it is within the remit of the treaty of formal prior information, Pakistan will oblige its neighbours like a responsible state.

Yes, this is exactly what Pakistan needs right now. To be testing new missiles. I wish they'd test out a new school for kids in the northern areas, or perhaps test out a new hospital in areas where 5000 people rely on 1 doctor. I'm tired of seeing these costly north korean scuds going in the air when other vital infrastructure is decaying on the ground.
