Default Pakistani Troops in Africa

Pakistan one of the largest contributors to the UN peacekeeping force, was involved with the United Nation's peacekeeping mission in Somalia.

I present some pictures of our soldiers in a foreign land, Africa.

"The first deployment of UN peacekeepers from Pakistan arrive in Kachele, in the north eastern region of Ituri, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, 11 October 2003. . Pakistan 25 May 2007 denied "preposterous" allegations that its troops deployed with the UN in the Democratic Republic of Congo had traded gold and weapons with militia groups."

We all know about our troops fighting the Taliban and serving Pakistan, but let's never forget all the troops fighting abroad, they are Pakistan's dedication and contribution to World security and peace.

very nice images...

the Pakistani army is very well respected for its UN deployments, and much loved in the countries deployed....

Except maybe Somalia, where it was Pakistani soldiers that rescued the Americans after they had been surrounded by Farah Aidid's men...the infamous Black Hawk Down case, with the American film makers completely changing the story to change the heroes from Pakistani to US soldiers.

Have you seen that video game that they have made on it? i mean it is down right stupid. Anywaz, Pakistani troops are the most respected body of troops on the UN Missions. We have been working hard to keep this title. Actually we dont abuse the facilities provided to us by the UN during such missions.

Pakistan Army troops serving under UN Mission in Côte d'Ivoire - March 19, 2009

Much of the stability and rest and non-fighting that can be seen in West Africa and various parts of the third-world are thanks to the Pakistan Army and their contribution to the UN Peace keeping Mission.

African-Militant fighting and violence have sharply waned in Africa since the arrival of Pakistan Army forces.
