this i think is a great gesture by the Prime Minister!! it makes the local population of the area feel that they are not being neglected as well as it helps the IDPs feel secure returing home....if the Prime Minister can go there and return safely means the IDPs can also return home feeling secure...

I wonder how these two feel about putting Musharraf on trial and humiliate him publicly...

Bad, what is good about it, its going to be humiliating for the entire nation to see a army Chief on trail.

Quaid once stated that we can only overcome our problems through honest endeavorers and never if we are divided amongst ourselves. If only we had honest generals that would serve us, but instead they divided us and took power.

@interceptor

look the trial of musharraf it is a double edged sword....

if you put him through a trial....then you get JUSTICE in PAKISTAN that is an unkown phenomina in pakistan!!!

however, there is no guarantee that Zardaris,bhuttos,Mians and Altaf bhais will ever be tried....

so yes justice might come into PAKISTAN and it might be a very good moment in PAKISTAN history however, it will not last long........

anywayz let's not derail this thread.....

This was long overdue. In my opinion, PM and all the key cabinet members should visit Sawat and meet with common people as well as our Officers/Jawans atleast once every 1 month.
