Default A hardrock Cafe/Lunchroom/Restaurant in Kerala

So this good friend of mine is opening a restaurant in Kerala, one of its own kind; a hardrock cafe style restaurant!

Yes, my first reaction was indeed the same...wtf is a hard rock cafe style restaurant??

Well the place is located in a busy part of the city between three universities and two information parks, obviously we want to concentrate on this segment of the market, the youngs, yups and the ones inbetween. There's a huge video projector inside to watch sport events and ofcourse a podium for the band.

So lets hear you idea's how would you like to have dinner in a hardrock restaurant? What time of the day would you prefer to go to such a place? What should be or should not be on the continental menu?

Lets flood this thread with good idea's.

That sounds like Pakistani's too, they can't go 1 meal without a national dish.

Neo I personally would target only the very wealthy segments of India like their financial sectors where the educated elite class have after work dinners and business or political meetings. The young of India hardly have enough to eat Hard Rock meals mate! Also imo hard rock isn't frequented by too many young people like the 90s, they took a big hit overall in the past 6 years. The idea is blanking out...I think a good night club is a better investment for an upstart Indian city. But if I was walking into a hard rock like restaurant I would go in for lunch order something greasy between 2 buns and a cerveza and buy me and my date a dessert, leave a minimal tip and bounce back in the aston martin to the penthouse apartment.

A coffee shop with a karaoke might be a better idea
