Friday the 13th is traditionally seen by many people as an unlucky date. Are you superstitious?

Superstitious people tend to take extra care and double check everything they do on the day.


Experts at Scotland's Glasgow Science Centre (GSC) are looking into the global phenomenon to determine if there is any science behind the superstitions. They say the date is a mix of superstitions - Friday being the unluckiest day of the week and the number 13.

Are you particularly cautious on Friday the 13th? Of what superstitions are you most wary? Has the date proved to be unlucky for you? What are the widely held superstitions where you are?

My superstition is that if I look at the computer screen for too long I start seeing double!
I am referring to the former posts = number 5 and 6, very similar arent they?

Look at the bright side , you wont have to repeat yourself infront of those who sometimes dont get it!

Well my superstition is that have to clean up before I go to bed....especially the dishes, someone once told me that if you leave the dirty dishes in the sink overnight evil fairies come at night and lick the dishes.....while licking they run around the house and they can get into your room and kill you in your sleep. I didnt believe it then and I still dont but hell I am not taking any chances.
