India warns of joint Sino-Pakistani border threat
The Indian Army has warned that deepening military ties between Beijing and Islamabad could see China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) and the Pakistani military launch joint operations along India's disputed northern border. "It [the PLA] poses military challenges to India not only along the Sino-Indian border but also along the line of control [LoC] with Pakistan," Northern Army chief Lieutenant General K T Parnaik said at a seminar on 5 April in Jammu, the winter capital of the disputed Kashmir province
