Dutch police use 'decoy Jews' to stop anti-Semitic attacks

Dutch police are to use "decoy Jews", by dressing law enforcers in Jewish religious dress such as skullcaps, in an effort to catch anti-Semitic attackers.

Lodewijk Asscher, Amsterdam's mayor, has ordered the new decoy strategy to cut the number of verbal and physical attacks on Jews, amid fears that anti-Semitic "hate crime" is on the rise.

"Jews in at least six Amsterdam neighbourhoods often cannot cross the street wearing a skullcap without being insulted, spat at or even attacked," according to local reports.

Police in the Dutch city of Gouda have claimed the use of officers disguised as apparently frail old age pensioners has helped cut street crime.

"If we receive several reports of street robbery in a certain location, we send out the granny. That soon quietens things down," said a spokesman.

Secret television recordings by the Jewish broadcasting company, Joodse Omroep, broadcast at the weekend, have shocked Amsterdam, a city which prides itself on liberalism and which is home to the Anne Frank museum.

Does this mean police in Holland will start using other undercover officers to nab those who commit hate crimes against people from other ethnic backgrounds/religions as well? I fear not!

Just saw an Email on this persistent "protest" and sullenness.

Here is an E Mail makeing the rounds in the USA, perhaps the world by now

The e-mail was in response to the students' protest of the Danish cartoons that portrayed the Prophet Muhammad as a terrorist.

The Muslim group at the university didn't like this too well.
They're demanding that Wichman be reprimanded, that the university impose mandatory diversity training for faculty,
And mandate a seminar on hate and discrimination for all freshmen.
Now, the local chapter of CAIR has jumped into the fray.
CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, apparently doesn't believe that the good professor
Had the right to express his opinion.

Saying the e-mail was private, and they don't intend to publicly condemn his remarks.

Living near Holland and somewhat having the same sort of people surrounding me here, I can safely say there there are migrants from a whole lot of other communities in the Netherlands than just the Arabs ie the Moroccans if thats what you are referring to.

I am sure Neo and Selma can back me up on this......we have an extensive pallette when colour comes into the equation.

Hell even the Polish (who are lucky enough to not fall in the oh-so-obvious "migrant" community) come in all sorts of tints and hues.

Well, it is the Islamic countries that are supposed to be the pinnacle of humanity, the ones that got the final and perfect message!
