The Holocaust Exaggerated?

The Holocaust did happen. At least 1 and a half million jews, and 1 million or more Roma, Slavs and communist Germans were tatooed interened in barbaric prison camps, where they were starved worked to death, and died in huge numbers from ill treatment and disease. Certain prisoners also suffered horrific suffering in barbaric, and inhumane medical experiements, many just children. Also in Russia and Baltic states whole Jewish communities were rounded up, driven to anti tank ditches, stripped @!#$, and shot dead. e.g, 7,310 in 3 days in Lipeja, Latvia. Photographic evidence, vuideo evidence, eyewitness acounts, and near complete records of all the dead exist. Himmler is also on record speaking of these.
None of these facts above can be refuted because there is firm evidence and survivors testiments. However what is in questions is 1) Is the figure 6 million correct? 2) Were there 'gas chambers' 3) Did Hitler order a direct policy of extermination of Jewish people. On all 3 points theres considerable doubt.
Many historians believe the 6 million figure is way off, some favour 4 million, but others believe this is again hugely inflated. Many feel 1 and a half million is nearer to accuracy. The 6 million figure was given by soviets, stated at Nuremburg, and generally accepted and quoted as fact without supporting evidence.
As for the Gas chambers, it's been proved and is accepted there were no gas chambers in the Greater Reich, but generally accepted there were in those in the Polish general government. However Revisionist refute this, they claim the Gas chambers were propaganda put out by the soviets and accepted byt he west as fact. They claim that the
gas chambers seen at Auschwitz are inoperable and would kill the guards too. They also claim allied aerial recconaisance of Auschwitz showed no sign of mass killings and that more than one Auschwitz survivior expresssed suprise there were gas chambers as they had never seen them. Of the survivors who do claim to have seen them, they simply rubbish them and call them liars. On the third point yes it is true no hard evidence exists linking Hitler to a direct policy of extermination. Or even Himmler for that matter. It is just possiblethe s.s. carried out genocide and Hitler did not know, or that deliberate
genocide never happened, and the jews in the camps died primarily of disease. However this hardly whitewashes Hitlers charachter. He was the physical and spiritual head of a racist state, set up under his own ideoligy (read Mein Kampf), the extent to which he ruled it directly is immiterial, his anti jewish attitudes were reflected in the laws passed and the actions of his underlings, and Jews undisputedly died and suffered horrificaly as a a direct result of his racist views. Whether they were gassed or not, whether it was 6 million or 1 million, is blatantly missing the point and an insult to the dead, Hitler was a wicked man, leading a wicked band, which commited wicked deeds. The hyuman suffering of one mistreated starving child, is equal to a thousand. Lets hope Nazism is dead and buried forever.
