Default Why tag "muslim terrorists"?

In this interview with Deutsche Welle, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan talks about his Muslim identity and the dangers of labeling

I so agree with his stance......we cant be labelling the terrorists as "Islamic/Muslim Terrorists".

He is right. However most militants/terrorists are identified with the "cause" they are fighting for.

In this case, the choice of the label has been made by the terrorists and by all accounts that is their motivation.

This can change if they are marginalized within the Islamic world and their credibility to speak for Islam is diminished.

How come I never hear the word "Christian terrorist"? Surely the crusaders terrorized muslims for a long long time, and jews still do.

Yes the crusaders attacked Muslims in the name of their religion. Before that Muslims were attacking them for hundreds of years. You do know that, don't you?

Muslims also have a long history with Jews, right? You seem to call them "apes and swines" along with the Christians and believe that the trees will call you to kill those hiding behind them.

Anyway, you may probably hear the terms when Christians and Jews are killing others in the name of their religions.

Stop saying infidels and kafirs, also stop saying allah o akar before you click the suicide button or behead a man. Shah rukh khan is a terrorist supporter and i have no doubt about it in my mind
