Couple Kills Baby In Black Magic Ritual

KARACHI, Pakistan - Pakistani police have arrested a couple on charges of stabbing their 3-month-old baby to death in a black magic ritual they believed would get them rich.



Police officer Hazoor Bukhsh says officers recovered a 3-year-old girl who they feared was also going to be killed.

The couple was arrested Monday in a house in the city of Karachi.

The body of their baby girl was exhumed from their backyard.

Bukhsh says a witch doctor advised them to kill the girl after telling them it would make them rich.

We need names of these people and a little more background as to what their religious beliefs It is extremely disturbing to me that such criminals can do these heinous crimes, have their pictures on the internet with a baby in their hands and still not have their names and background published.

Well for one.......the witch doctor must be caught and tortured for life.....sick man/woman!!!

Secondly I though this ritual was a thing of the past.....people would do such deeds decades of years ago, are we going back to the stone ages?

This has become common in Pakistan believe in crazy saints, who have medical cure for mental illness that are lingering on their victims mind. This should be banned and barred from society these crazy witch doctors are disease fooling people for money. Similar atrocity happened in rural Punjab where a father burnt his daughter because he saw a witch in her. He was instructed by these witch doctors to do this unjust cruel act. There must be a cure for this ailment in society.

This is due to superstition. I don't think "religion" played any role, lack of education and awareness likely did.

Just what I was going to say....this isnt about religion as such, the ''high on Charass (weed)'' witch doc is so convincing that most people forget about religion on the whole.
