Back to the beginning


Vintage photographs showing the places and people that shaped Pakistan's identity in the years after Partition are the highlights of the photography exhibits at the Shanaakht Festival. The festival, a celebration of our nation, runs in Karachi from November 9-11, and includes storytelling sessions, theatre, film screenings, poetry readings, and more. The Festival kicks off on November 9, 2009 (Monday) and will conclude on the 11th (Wednesday). The festival will be open to Schools only from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m and welcomes the general public from 3 p.m. onwards.
