Qadianis should be allowed to preach: Altaf

LAHORE: Qadianis should be allowed to preach their ideology in Pakistan, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain told a private TV channel on Tuesday. During an interview, he said politics and religion should be kept separate.

He said he would establish a mosque, a church, a Hindu temple and a ‘Qadiani mosque’ if the MQM came into power.

He also said the country’s name should be ‘Peoples’ Pakistan’ and people should choose whether it should be an Islamic Republic or a Peoples’ Republic.

Fair enough he speaks for the right of minorities who have achieved much by the act of 'self exile' to the UK....maybe AH entertains a few of them at his restaurant in Mill Hill and feels he has to say a few words to tickle their pinkies, but Cmon Mister-whose-brain-is out-to-lunch, what are you trying to prove?

Every now and then he picks up a subject to talk about, in the hope that the majority of people in Pakistan will find something interesting in what he is trying to say-in-a-dippy-kind-of-way.

The Ahmedis are influent society abundantly rich and fund political parties for their influence in Pakistan. The Ahmedis were not incarcerated form preaching there believes but were marked as Kafirs. We have our religion at stake if idiots like him start to divulge politics with Ahmedis, who claim on Islam. They are a political cult that have exiled in the UK, they are hell bent on segregating Islam with a new prophet. Ataf lives in wonder land, what a clown I hope he gets barred from visiting muslim countries, he gave platform for those who denounce Islam.

As for his current statement he probably has forgotten that this country was made in the name of Islam. It was not 'discovered' or liberated by a hero. Pakistan was born to be a shinning star in the Islamic World, and now when idiots like him would suggest that we should become secularist, well then i think he is wrong and is spitting on the efforts of his ancestors who sacrificed so much to give this country a birth.

Pakistan takes its strength from Islam and the day this factor dies, we die.

i have already said somewhere that if you want to kill someone, kill his strengths; you want to destroy india kill india's strength i.e. india's secularism and its democracy.

I don't think it's a issue of minority rather Qadianis are not muslim yet they are claiming to be one. All they have to do is declare them selves as non muslim thus no action would be taken agaist them just like other minority religious group.

The Ahemdis hide their faith. It is not much of an issue I think. Either way its important we let people know that extra-judicial violence is utterly unacceptable, even if the Ahemdis insist on being called Muslims. Allah will judge them, but we must ensure that our own souls are untainted by criminal indulgence.
