Pakistan wins the most creative Pavilion Award at BITE


ISLAMABAD (June 28 2010): Pakistan wins the most creative Pavilion Award at Beijing International Tourism Expo (BITE) on Sunday. A press release issued here on Sunday said that Federal Secretary Tourism Hifzur Rahman received the award from the Deputy Director General of Beijing Tourism Department at the award distribution ceremony.

Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K) Minister for Tourism, sports and Culture Sardar Sayab Khalid and AJ&K Secretary Tourism Fayyaz ALi Abbasi were also present during the ceremony.

Around 82 countries have set up pavilions at the BITE exposition, which continued for three days in addition to 25 domestic pavilions. Pakistan's pavilion was one of the most visited ones, particularly popular were the stalls of bangles and henna (mehndi.
