Default Telecom operator to help build first hybrid car

Telecom operator to help build first hybrid car

ISLAMABAD (June 15 2010): A telecom operator has provided financial assistance to young Pakistani engineers to build Prodigy, Pakistan's first hybrid car. Pak Wheelers is a group of 11 engineering students of EME College, NUST, who are planning to build the country's first hybrid car. The single-seater Prodigy - which can go up to 700 km in one liter of fuel - will represent Pakistan in the Shell Eco-Marathon 2010 to be held in Malaysia next month.

Well my name is Awad Awan I am a member of the team Pakwheelers, in fact I am its Media manager. Its amazing how our people have reacted to this whole project and we appreciate all the appreciation. May be it's because of the fact that we did it for our country and the spirit behind making this car was always the same : We will prove that Pakistanis are constructive, not destructive as shown by international media !

Well people are searching for inspiration and your team at NUST is providing them the sparks, its encouraging to see in all the hyped doom and gloom a hope. We are all so proud by your efforts in building something that would make the nation proud and inshallah win the competition.

I have noticed on the website there arent any pictures of your hybrid car is possible you could post some pictures of the car.
