COAS General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited Miranshah in North Waziristan
ISLAMABAD Jan 02 (APP): Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on Saturday visited Miranshah and had a comprehensive briefing about the security situation in the area.
According to ISPR, during informal interaction with the field commanders and the troops, the COAS appreciated their professionalism and high morale. Miranshah had been stronghold of terrorist and this is the first ever visit of COAS to the town after flushing them out.
On arrival in the area, he was received by the Corps Commander, Lieutenant General Muhammad Masood Aslam.
