Pakistani contingent wins the 17th Inter Sector Volley Ball Championship in Sudan

Pakistani contingent working under the aegis of United Nations Peace Keeping Missions in Sudan won the 17th Inter Sector Volley Ball Championship held at Wau, Sudan.

Teams of Military contingents including Pakistan, India, China, Kenya, Egypt and Zambia participated in the tournament.

In the Final match, Pakistan beat Kenya by 3-1 goals. Rundown of events is as under:-

Pak Army win Taekwondo title

RAWALPINDI (APP): Pakistan Army has won the National Taekwondo Championship organized by Punjab Taekwondo Association at Rahim Yar Khan. Total 40 teams participated in the championship including Army, WAPDA, Isla-mabad, NWFP, Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, Police, AJK and FATA. According to overall results, Pakistan Army secured first position followed by WAPDA, Punjab-A and Police who remained second, third and forth respectively.
