How to join Pakistan Army?

* If a person who's born in a foreign country and want to join Pakistan Army can get dual nationality can he do it ?

* To be Army officer what are requirements for Pakistan Army so Armed Forces in the world have you required a Bachlors degree.

* Rankings of Pakistan Army

You have to be a Pakistani. That means you should either have a CNIC or NICOP. Now when you join the Army you cant retain dual nationality. You have to renounce your other nationality in any case. The only leverage that you have is during the training at PMA, you can retain both of your nationalities until you passout, just in case if your are withdrawn from the Academy, you dont lose the other nationality in vain.

Ranking means if you start as an E-1 / E-2 / E-3 / E-5 / Captain / Major like that Ranking....


*12 years of schooling means a High School diploma ? or Associates Degree and i dont know FSc / FA

Let me clear some difference between Pakistan and Where i live right now.We call 11-12th grade considered a High School in Pakistan is considered college ; After High School,I go to college for 4 years to get my Bachelors degree ; In Pakistan after College you go to University to get your Bachleors degree.

*Does Pakistan Army offer free education like in Defence studies.

*If you can speak foreign language like English is a plus ?

Yes it;s high school (till 12 grade)

Associate degree would also do.


And you cant start as E-1 etc and get to the O-1/2 etc.

You have to make it to the O-1 to get into the Officer Cadre.

The 'E' stuff is the Non-Commissioned cadre. i hope you are looking forward towards the Commission?

Nevertheless, you can 'transform' from the 'E' to an 'O', but then you has to go through the ISSB thingy.

BTW following are the ranks that we have:

* Field Marshal
* General
* Lt-General
* Major-General
* Brigadier
* Colonel
* Lt-Colonel
* Major
* Captain
* Lieutenant
* 2nd lieutenant

2/Lt being the O-1, Lt being an O-2 and there on.

I hold a HS diploma so i could apply for becoming an officer.I am looking towards commission and does Army have a contract for like 4 or 8 years of service because i am committed to signing a long contract.You didn't answer my question does Army offer free education like,I am interested in Defence studies would Army allow it.

It's easy to get inside the Army, but difficult to leave it :)

Minimum contract of 13 years, you cant quit before that.

You graduate from PMA.

Lots and lots of education during the service (and that's terrible )

Yes you can always study what ever you want, but at the expense of your own time.

My questions are:-
1. how to join pak army as TCC(Technical Cadet Course) in (software Engineering)?
2. Is there any scholarship to study TCC?
3. How to register with ISSB, If i want to join Pak army, navy or air force.
4. What whould be mice pay after getting BE(Software Engineering)hons. from pak army as a TCC?
5. Do i Promoted to something else other than Captain?


My Qualifications:
1.ICS(BISE Lahore) with 75.5% in Year 2010
2. Matric(Science) (FBISE Islamabad)(Quetta Center) with 57% in year 2007. the gap of one year
is due to no finance to study in ICS.
3. I have a domicile of balochistan.
