Well, it may have been greed, though she was rich enough to spend her life at leisure outside the country.
I agree dynasties are not really good but ultimately people have to elect them to power. They are better than military dictators with no accountability any day.
But yes, it will take a long time for genuine inter party democracy to work here.

When has abundance of money been a source of contentment for the rich? The more you have, the more you want. I would however agree with you that even political dynasties are better than dictators. From Pakistans perspective more damage has been done by dictators to it than the politicians. However, for this statement to be accurate there is a proviso, which is that the political system should be uninterrupted. If it is interrupted, then people forget the problems created by the politicians and re elect the same faces thathad harmed them in the past.I think in general, Pakistan would have been much better off, if we had uninterrupted political rule. That would have resulted in the dross being sifted out , and we would have had better leadership emerge than what we have today.
