I am assuming that the damaged plane might be for Pakistan as they are currently building these systems only for Pakistan. Thailand is the only other country that I know has also ordered these systems but not sure if the production has started for them or not.

Its a minor damage, propeller blades get damaged all the time and can be replaced. Nothing to worry about.

I th9ink it was a combination of bad planning and icy conditions. Propellors will get repaired nad Saab will ensure that there is no damage to the engine.

Pakistan gets 2nd AEW&C jet from Sweden

Sunday, April 25, 2010

ISLAMABAD: The second Saab-2000 AEW&C (Airborne Early Warning and Control System) aircraft, purchased by Pakistan, finally arrived in the country on Saturday.

The first such aircraft of the originally four contracted by Pakistan was acquired in December last year, while the second aircraft yesterday landed safely at an Operational Base of the PAF.

PAF sources have informed that this new entry would soon be inducted formally in PAF squadron, while remaining two would also be handed over to Pakistan soon.
