I am not sure I am following you. Are you saying that this Arab (who had an extra marital fornication with a non Muslim woman and apparently lied to him to do this) should be just let off after the woman accuses him of fraud?

Aren't you going against your own Sharia and religion which considers this to be the most heinous crime worthy of killing the people involved with brutal death?

Its apparent that the Israeli law didn't think so and the same person in an Islamic country would be dead by stoning now.

The Jews (and other religions) may have equally foolish laws as well but they are not implementing them in any society. They know that religion is to be kept separate from politics.

Just because the newspaper didn't find it necessary to mention his religion doesn't take away from an obvious fact. If he were not a Muslim, it would surely be mentioned.
